halcalic was coded on a 1900 x 1200 monitor with visual studio code and chrome! unfortunately, it's not optimized for mobile.

i just have a thing for beautifully noisy music. my favourite track on this EP by seapool would probably have to be 'low pop baby'. i love how raw the vocals sound!

halcalic is ran by me, callie! feel free to read more about me here.

this site was made back in 2022, but i only began working on it in 2024. halcalic is an extension of myself and was created as a means of self-expression!

i really love having creative outlets! web design is definitely one of them.

i'm self-taught, so my code undoubtedly has room for improvement and i still have lots to learn, but this kind of thing is incredibly fulfilling for me! there are so, so, so many inspiring webmasters and sites out there, they all motivate me to continue working on my own site!

- okay.. why 'halcalic'?

i'm not exactly sure when, but i remember having a brief interest in HALCALI, a japanese rap-pop duo, and i guess i wanted to dedicate a username to them.

in hindsight, this definitely wasn't the most creative thing i've ever done, considering how i simply added another letter to their name and called it a day.. still! their music slaps and i can't deny the fact that i'm quite attached to this user.
